After almost ten years abroad, I’m back in my hometown of Utrecht, The Netherlands, with Mr. Floor, our little boys Jacob & Abel, and our cat Miso.

my story

In 2006, after years and years of serious dedication to my art history studies and plenty on time for my quarter life crisis, I came to feel seriously stuck. On January 1st 2007, I decided to pick up pencil and paper and rekindled my life long love affair with drawing. Inspired by people I found online, I started a daily illustrated journal and have not stopped drawing since. Over the following years I have been able to work with some amazing people and my illustrated journals, comics, graphic journalism pieces, and illustrations have shown up in (inter)national publications like Drawing the Times, Uppercase Magazine, Flow Magazine, Oh Marie! Magazine, VERS, NRC Magazine, Cup of Jo Blog, and Libelle Lekker. 

Drawing and painting is my passion, but I have a kick ass ‘day job’, growing international b2b marketplaces for special and handmade objects. I work as a Sr Category Manager in Interiors at Catawiki, and previously was lucky enough to work at Etsy and multiple cultural institutes and design festivals.
