…of a peacock who didn’t
like his tail.
With the help of his friends, he goes on a search to find his perfect tail. Will he ever feel like himself again? Will he ever be happy again? Spoiler for all parents: yes, of course. The peacock learns that everything he had been looking for, had been part of him all along.
This book was written over the summer of 2018 at the Anglia Ruskin University summer school for Children’s Book Illustration and based on a story I made up when I was about 8. It's both funny and heartfelt, and so I spent the next year drawing and rewriting the story so I could pass it onto my children and children everywhere else.
