As I wrote in my last post, in May of this year I traveled to Switzerland with my dad to visit my grandma's grave. She died six years ago during COVID and due to the travel restrictions, I never got to say goodbye. My grandma lived in Switzerland for my entire life (even though she was Dutch) and I have fond memories of visiting her there, mostly during summer. We'd hoped for good weather, but got snow instead. Nevertheless, it was a healing trip for me, and a beautiful goodbye.
